HOLY TRINITY RUSSIAN ORTHODOX CHURCH is located in the renovated 'Washington Hill' neighborhood in 'East Baltimore'. The parish is approximately 3/4 mile from Johns Hopkins Hospital and, in fact, much of the complex can be viewed from the front steps of the church. The parish community, founded in 1919, was started by immigrants from Ukraine and Byelorussia who fled poverty and political strife to start a new life in America. Having come to a new land, our ancestors brought with them their language, customs and their faith – the Eastern Orthodox Christian faith. _____________ Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church 1723 East Fairmount Avenue Baltimore MD 21231
